Where are my tags and notes stored?
The core library and annotations stay in your browser. Optional Push and Pull actions can sync the annotation layer through a secret Gist in your GitHub account.
Does the project run a backend or track me?
No. The project operates no application backend, GitHub proxy, AI proxy, analytics SDK, ad network, or tracking service.
Which browsers work today?
The current release is available from the Chrome Web Store for Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers, including Edge, Brave, and Opera.
Do I have to use Cubby or the discovery tools?
No. Cubby, Watch, Following, For You, and Gist sync are optional. Search, filters, tags, notes, and favorites remain the core experience.
Is it open source?
Yes. The source is public on GitHub and licensed under the MIT License.
